Bamboo & Olive Leaf Extract

Bamboo extract is very rich in easily absorbable silicon. This is a basic building block for healthy and strong hair.

Olive leaf extract is an antioxidant 5x stronger than vitamin C against oxidative stress in the body (hair is damaged by stress).

This extract stops stress-related hair loss.

Building blocks & Co-factors

L-cystine and L-Methionine are the building blocks of keratin. Natural hair consists of 95% keratin. Biotin helps strengthen hair growth and brittle nails. Cells that build hair count on zinc to work better. Vitamin B6 supports zinc and biotin.

Olive leaf extract (Olea europaea / 20% oleuropein)

Overview

Olive leaf extract refers to the molecules that come from the leaves of the olive plant. The olive fruit (what we consume) is what olive oil is made from and olive leaf extract has several chemical compounds that alter physiology and neurochemistry.

Mechanism

The main bioactive molecules in olive leaf extract are oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol, which is known to eliminate free radicals due to its strong antioxidant activity. It also has neuroprotective and neurogenic benefits.

Benefits

Eliminates free radicals

Reduces cardiovascular risks, such as atherosclerosis

Reduces inflammation

L-cystine

Overview

L-cystine stimulates the synthesis of keratin in hair and nails. Keratin is the main building block of your hair and nails. In addition, it also ensures healthy bones and connective tissue.

Mechanism

Your hair and nails are made up of keratin fibers. Keratin is a protein that is mainly composed of L-cystine. L-cystine is a semi-essential amino acid formed by 2 cysteine molecules that are oxidized and connected by a sulfur bridge. This gives a typical odor.

Benefits

Ensures the maintenance of strong hair and nails

L-Methionine

Overview

Methionine is an amino acid found in many proteins, including those in our diet and in the tissues and organs of our own bodies. It has other unique properties in addition to its function as a building block. One is its ability to be converted into important sulfur-containing molecules (1). Sulfur-containing molecules have a range of functions, including protecting your tissues, modifying your DNA, and ensuring that your cells maintain proper function

Mechanism

Methionine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that improves skin tone and elasticity, promotes healthy hair and strengthens nails.

Benefits

improves skin elasticity

strengthens hair and nails

Zinc (zinc bisglycinate).

Overview

Zinc acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and helps strengthen the immune system. It is involved in numerous functions in the brain. It helps increase the body's production of antioxidants and can increase brain chemicals, such as serotonin, in certain parts of the brain.

Mechanism

Zinc is part of enzymes and transcription factors in the body. In enzymes, zinc may be part of the catalytic center or for structural integrity. In addition, zinc plays a role in signal transmission and acid-base balance.

Benefits

Helps your body build DNA and make proteins, which contributes to the creation of tissue.

Helps your immune system fight invading viruses and bacteria.

Biotin (vitamin H)

Overview

Biotin is an essential nutrient, also known as vitamin B7, that is essential for numerous enzymatic processes in the brain and body. Although humans need biotin for everything from food metabolism to supporting neurological function, we cannot make our own biotin, making us dependent on food sources and gut bacteria.

Working

Biotin acts as a coenzyme for multiple carboxylases in humans, and it alters the irreversible carboxylation of acetyl-CoA to malonyl-CoA.These enzymes are vital in numerous metabolic processes. The mechanism of action of biotin occurs by attaching to specific lysine residues.

Benefits

Improves the health of the hair

Supports nail health

Breaks down macronutrients
